Be Thankful

I am thankful I live in a society that rallies behind the notion of Free Speech, despite electing a president who has slowly whittled away at them.

This morning I caught a segment on GMA celebrating past Americans: Abraham Lincoln, who abolished slavery and held the Union together, was voted number one. The highest ranking female on the list was Elizabeth Cady Stanton, one of the leaders of Women's Suffrage which led to the 19th Amendment - giving women the right to vote.

Still Alive and Kicking

I'm still here... got a year of sobriety on October 28th, but been really busy. And the last week I've been in a self-pity spiral. Anyway, hopefully things are better.
