Despite feeling very sore, I've had a very good day. I finally showed up for my first of six work service days stemming from my 2003 DUI. A group of us petty criminals were driven to Ramon to hoe... heheh. And man, I do not work this hard at my job! I learned way more than I ever wanted to know about hoeing. But it feels good that, a) I showed up and stuck to "the plan," b) put in a hard day's work, recognizing when my body had too much hoeing and moving on to other tasks so I remained useful to the group, c) the camaderie afterward.

Once we were dropped off, Larry picked me up so I could make it on-time to my tennis match, which I ultimately won. However, my competition is a very sore loser, and trying to enjoy the overall experience was very testing. But I managed.

The 2-bit was great; heard Ru-Ru and Pam. Then fellowship at Davids. Now bed. I will pray that God helps me to get up and make it on time tomorrow for day 2.

I didn't forget; I just got home late and I'm tired from a long day. Highlights of my day: First rehearsal back with the GMC; holding my own at work, launching key changes to ER and a tv Movie, and adding in global navigation for that show. Good times.

I have been meaning to post for some time, but I've been either busy or lazy. I promised myself I'd write for 10min today, but I got sidetracked playing around with Plaxo, so I'm going to keep this entry brief.

Today was a good day. 2nd day solo at work, worked on the 10.5 site and optimized it for maintenance. Mailed off the car payment and my ammends to the chiropractor, had lunch with co-workers... well attempted to and spent the hour with them waiting for my food, ultimately eating at my desk. Made it to my step study, began the 4th step and felt spiritually connected. Walked Ebby and got a nice card, God-box and day planner from Carl for my 6 months.

I'm commiting to writing at least 10 minutes a day, so hopefully there will be more posts to come.
