Update: Everlasting Funk
Ok, feeling slightly better. And I finally figured out the Javascript issue, bah to exact spaces, single quotes, and case matching! But I feel more like a programmer now, which I appreciate.
Everlasting Funk
I have been in the worst funk I've experienced in awhile, even threatening to quit at work, which is a big no-no for me. The solution is to pray and meditation; I know these feelings pass, but being in the middle of the emotional hurricane is so freaking rough.
Anyway I'm up and having problems with Javascript form validations in php. Bah!

To Root or Not to Root
I've had a toothache for the last few weeks. Any time I ingest hot or cold things, both the upper and lower right side of my jaw scream in agony like a chorus of enraptured Mormons witnessing the return of Jesus.
I saw the dentist yesterday; he said I need a root canal on one of my molars, costing a little over $1000. Someone on Facebook suggested getting the tooth pulled for $90. I know I'd get that fixed eventually, but what would that cost me in the long run for a fake tooth and the bridgework to make it possible? Is it cheaper to do the root canal now, or to go with the tooth-pulling option? I could always tie some string around my tooth and tie it to a door, then use a tic-tac to fill the gap...

New Job
Recently, I was rehired at Vons, and I'm so grateful. My orientation was on Saturday, and I start working today after an initial four-hour training session. My life is absolutely blessed today, even in the times I'm feeling down.

Not Buying It
Antonio Sabato Jr. needs VH1's help to find love? Really? I can see why Flavor Flav needed the help, but Antonio? Really?
Update
Just checking in. I've been working on my professional website, installing Wordpress and fudging around with that. There isn't anything to view yet, but it's a work-in-progress. I've decided this site will be for rants and other non-professional nonsense, and the other site will be for web industry-related posts and my work portfolio.
While I'm appealing my disability claim, I'm researching how to become a security guard in the event my claim is denied and all appeals are exhausted. Not sure how I feel about this new "career" venture, but I think it would accommodate a school schedule once I resume studies.

Under Construction
Website under construction. Since I have no design experience, I'm searching through Wordpress themes, but nothing is an exact fit for what I want. I know enough Photoshop to be dangerous, so I think I'm going to create a site piece-meal, grabbing features I like from each theme and incorporating them into one cohesive creative statement.

Too Much Thinking Makes You Fat
Researchers found the stress of thinking caused overeating with heavy thinkers seeking out more calories. Hmmmm, that MUST explain it.
